2011-2012 Daily Quality Physical Education Awards
Congratulations to several District schools who have received School Recognition Awards from PHE Canada (Physical & Health Education Canada) for the quality of their physical education programs for students. It is a pleasure to recognize the efforts of staff and students at the following schools who received this award for the 2011-2012 school year:

Mr. Terry Freeman had an article related to the district’s work with Open Minds/Community Classrooms published in the Summer 2012 edition of Leaders & Learners, the official magazine of the Canadian Association of School Administrators.
