At the recent regular Board meeting held October 16th, the following accomplishments were recognized:
Diploma/Achievement Working Committee: Congratulations are extended to Val Browne, Shonna Barth, Allen Parker, Lydia Carriere, Tara Johnson and Tammy Vaari. These teachers have forwarded their names to the province for consideration of working committees on the achievement and diploma exams. This type of leadership and professional development enhances the improved learning focus for the district. We extend our congratulations to the teachers involved.
Stephanie Funk: Congratulations to Stephanie Funk, teacher at Vincent Massey School, who has volunteered to serve on the Provincial Executive of the Early Childhood Education Council of the Alberta Teachers’ Association for the 2012-2013 school year.
Cross Country Teams: Congratulations to students and staff at Medicine Hat High School and Crescent Heights High School for their commitment and dedication to Zone competitions for cross country. A number of students from both schools qualified for provincials. As well, Medicine Hat High School won the 4A Zone banner.
