Medicine Hat School District No. 76 is located within the boundaries of the City of Medicine Hat. Its schools serve the needs of students and their families from a range of socio-economic and cultural/ethnic backgrounds.
Medicine Hat School District No. 76 came into existence in 1886 and has grown to serve our current enrolment of over 7,000 students. Our District offers a full spectrum of programs and services centered on students’ needs and with sensitivity to community and parents’ needs. Our wide range of programs service children from 2½ years of age to Grade 12. The District is comprised of 4 secondary schools, 1 elementary/junior high Christian Education school, 11 elementary schools, and a variety of outreach programs.
