River Heights Elementary School provides an instructional program that supports the development of the competencies of Engaged Thinkers and Ethical Citizens with an Entrepreneurial Spirit as outlined in the Ministerial Order on Student Learning. 

At River Heights Elementary School, the delivery of the Alberta Education curriculum is achieved through student-centred integrated learning. We teach critical and creative thinking skills. We facilitate student independence and interdependence. We implement technology in ways that are meaningfully connected to the curriculum. It is important to us that we provide a safe and caring environment for every student.
