Further to a recent announcement re: the formation of the Minister’s Youth Council, the following is a message from Alberta Education Minister, David Eggen:
I would like to thank you for championing junior and senior high school students to apply for this opportunity.
The application deadline is just a few weeks away – completed application packages must be postmarked no later than May 5, 2017.
Alberta Education’s Minister’s Youth Council will consist of approximately 32 junior and senior high school students with diverse interests, identities, backgrounds and perspectives from across the province. Council members will have the opportunity to provide input on education issues and engage with the ministry as partners.
Alberta Education has developed communication tools and information about recruitment for the Minister’s Youth Council for you to share with your schools and communities.
