route maps. Alternatively, please call Southland Transportation at 403.526.4655 for bus route information.
Is my student eligible for transportation?
The school division may provide transportation service for resident students in the following categories:
1.
Students within the school district boundaries who reside over 2.4km from their designated school.
2.
Grades K-3 students residing beyond 1.2km from their designated school.
How do I find out what my student’s designated school is?
The school division utilizes
attendance boundaries to determine which school a student is designated to attend. For additional information regarding attendance areas call the school in your area, or contact the School Division office at 403.528.6572.
Where can I find my student’s bus route?
Families are encouraged to view our updated
route maps. For additional information regarding bus routes, please call Southland Transportation at 403.526.4655 or the School Division office at 403.528.6572.
Is transportation available for students with special needs?
Special transportation may be provided to students with special needs; families can contact their local school to apply.
Is this my bus?
Each school bus will feature clearly marked signage displaying the route number and school destination to help students get to school with ease. Students attending elementary school will also have a unique animal on their bus sign to help them identify their bus. The three signs pictured above are examples of what to look for. These signs are displayed on the side of the bus near the door.

Thank you for helping to ensure the safety of our students, families and staff. Always follow the 30km/h speed limit when driving through school zones between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. each day. Be aware of appropriate parking spaces and loading zones, leaving at least 5 meters when parking near a marked crosswalk or stop sign.
